Thursday 20th June 2024 - 6pm to 8pm
We’ve been growing, harvesting and distilling Black Mitcham peppermint for almost three decades, all on our family farm in the Hampshire countryside.
This Summer, we're excited to be hosting Dr Mark Moss, Head of Psychology at Northumbria University, to share his findings on the impact of peppermint essential oils on cognition and mood, supporting our belief in the restorative power of peppermint.
The tour will start with a glass of bubbles before we head out onto the farm tracks, fields and along the hedgerows to see the Black Mitcham Peppermint growing in the fields and hear from Dr Mark Moss about his findings of the uplifting benefits of peppermint. We'll finish with an opportunity to taste some Summerdown treats, made with our prized Black Mitcham peppermint.
One thing we can be sure of is the Great British weather so please come prepared. We'll have a wet weather plan in case of rain. Suitable footwear for uneven ground and muddy tracks is essential.
