Harvest 2019 may be over and the peppermint oil distilled and barrel-aging as we write, but work never stops on the farm, with Ian and the farm team as busy as ever.
Current jobs include planting 20,000 plugs of lavender, putting in cover crop for wildlife, which also helps keeps our soil as nutrient rich as possible and minimises erosion, plus drilling and preparing for harvest 2020 when when we'll be celebrating 25 years of distilling peppermint oil on the farm.
