A collection of four, seasonal farm walks with Ian Margetts, our Master of Mint. He'll walk you through life on the farm in each of the seasons. With a thorough introduction and overview of Summerdown farm and estate, Ian will explain what’s happening above and below ground during each of the seasons, what the team are up to, what to expect to see next season as well as the challenges, difficulties and recent successes experienced by Summerdown's farm team.
Starting each farm tour with coffee and pastries, the first tour will be mainly based at the Clubhouse to give you an in-depth introduction of the farm and estate. Subsequent sessions will require sturdy footwear and waterproofs as the walks will take place in all weathers and follow footpaths, field edges and farm tracks.
The tour will take place across four Wednesdays throughout the year from 10am-12 noon:
Wednesday 22nd January
Wednesday 19th March
Wednesday 25th June
Wednesday 24th September.
The ticket price covers all four tours.Unfortunately we are not able to offer replacement dates. We recommend this tour for relatively active people as each tour will cover a considerable amount of walking.
After booking your tour we will email you within 7 days giving full details of the event. A full refund is available up to 14 days prior to the tour date. If cancelling within 14 days prior to the tour date, an exchange to a different tour of the same value can be offered.
