Set within the old cricket pavilion at the heart of The Meadow at Summerdown, Wicket is a self-contained double room named after the cricket pitch the pavilion once looked out onto, a quiet nod to the building's history.

Downstairs, a cosy boot room area welcomes you in, the perfect spot to leave muddy boots and wet coats before heading up your own private staircase to the room above. Inside you'll find a kingsize bed set beneath the eaves, a comfortable chair to settle into and thoughtful storage tucked into every corner. A kitchenette with cupboard, hob, kettle and little fridge means you're fully self-sufficient, and a separate shower room comes stocked with Summerdown shower gel and body lotion. Timber sourced from the farm runs throughout, and every detail has been carefully considered to feel like your own space, even within a shared building.

Wicket has its own external door, so you can come and go as you please without disturbing anyone else staying in the pavilion.

When The Meadow at Summerdown is booked in its entirety, guests also have access to the communal kitchen and open-plan sitting and entertaining space downstairs, ideal for gathering everyone together at the end of the day. Booked on its own, Wicket is fully self-contained.
